We then transitioned into our main activity for the day. As we round out the semester in Credit Recapture our focus is going to be on improving our approaches to facilitation. To focus more specifically on this, I am going to lead a couple of activities with some students as participants and some students as observers. When we switch activities we will switch which students participate and which students observe. The focus of this observation is on how directions are presented and how the debrief portion of the activity is run. Observations are recorded on the facilitator observation form.
After everyone has had an opportunity to observe an activity and participate in an activity, we will discuss everyone's observations. Then, people will have new activities to choose and will keep in mind what they learned from their observations to better facilitate those activities.
