02.26 - The Outlaws of Poker Flat (Part II)

We started today's class with fifteen minutes of reading from everyone's free choice books (or any class novels that are currently being read). During this time I conferenced individually with people about their books. At the end of this reading time, everyone recorded their progress on their reading sheets.

Next, we returned to reading the short story "The Outcasts of Poker Flats". We are completing a story review for this story as we have in the past, but then we will look at how to use this story in activity, and then we will use the activity to set us up for a final product (some writing) on this topic.

Today in class, we finished the story and discussed the ending. For homework, everyone is completing the story review of the story. We will use information from these sheets in an activity next class.

Complete the story review sheet.

Read for two hours from your free choice book and/or novel-style class texts.

Complete missing work and revise any assignment that scored below a 92.
